Today's my birthday

I'm feeling grateful for such good friends and family who went out of their way to make me feel special today. This morning I woke up to this sweet voice telling me "happy birthday, mommy"
who was my oldest daughter, Jade and Jessica wrapping her arms around my neck gently giving me a kiss on my check. I was startled at first because I wasn't awake enough yet, but then I realized what was happening, I was filled with joy that the first thing I woke up to is my sweet daughters giving me lots of love. My husband took me out for dinner while my parents watched my kids. I also had yummy chocolate as my sister, Sara, mentioned in her wonderful poem she wrote to me for my birthday. (had some for you too, Sara...) It was a good day and it's great to be alive!
