NO BOYS ALLOWED!!

The girls and I had a wonderful night out while the boys went on an overnight camping trip. The girls and I went to see the movie "Rio", we ate a big, no wait, a HUGE bucket of popcorn and even had a giant soda (no caffine of course) while we enjoyed being together! After the movie, we went to the Mall and ventured in the Pet Store and the Disney Store. We came home and the best part of the whole night was that we snuggled together in my bed watching a movie as we fell asleep. LOVE IT!!

The times are changing ... ...

The kids are getting so big and growing into little people. I sure miss my little ones .. but I am enjoying seeing them grow.

Life is about learning...sometimes the hard way...

"Sometimes the hardest lessons in life are yet to be learned until the unthinkable happens...and when it does happen, you become grateful for the hard lesson learned."

That is my favorite quote, and I made that up myself. It is true that sometimes we don't see the light at the end of the tunnel as we struggle with our trials in life, but rest assure, there is always a lesson to be learned and that is how we grow and become better than we were before!

All twisted up

We had a great time playing twister! First time my kids played and we had a great time during our Family home evening.

We said goodbye to our van!

This van had to go.....we will miss the important lessons my children and I learned about the powers of prayer. This van was stolen from us 2 months after we got it. Then nearly a year later after many nights of family prayers...our van was found just in time before the birth our our 4th child. No one could believe that in a year later, our van would show up somewhere, but I know that Heavenly Father listened and answered our prayers for the retutn of our van.

I got to get out with friends, real good friends, and we all had such a ball! Lynda, Jen, Jenny, Brenda, Rachel, Kara and I went to the Stampede to learn country line dancing. Oh, it was so much fun!! I learned 2 line dances and i can't remember the name of them but I do know how to dance to them. We played pool for a bit as well. I still love to play. I forget how much I enjoy playing pool. I miss it. I wasn't that good like i used to be, but I love to get good again! After all that, we all went to Olive Garden to eat. We laughed and talked and ate. I just love living life and enjoying others. When i got home and it was a mess when i left, the house was cleaned and tidy. My husband cleaned the house for me. Awesome!
